Two applications are required at a two week intervals when drone brood is at its smallest and during periods before and after honey flow, (Spring & Autumn). Each application lasts 12 days and is applied one immediately after the other in order to ensure mites, which would emerge over a prolonged period, are exposed to the powder.
Exomite Apis should be used as part of an Integrated Pest Management approach and can form part of a resistance management strategy.
