Exomite Apis is a thymol based preparation for use in beehives that are suffering from the destructive effects of the Varroa mite (Varroa destructor).
By exploiting our patented Entostat powder technology, the system employs the bees to distribute the thymol based preparation throughout the hive. This targeted approach means that the product does not rely on thymol volatilisation, which in turn means that only very small quantities of thymol are required. Exomite Apis uses up to 60% less thymol than most other thymol based products.
Exomite Apis has been designed for use as part of an Integrated Pest Management approach and should always be used in conjunction with a Varroa screen.
